{"id":12369,"date":"2014-09-19T00:01:22","date_gmt":"2014-09-19T00:01:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/?p=12369"},"modified":"2014-09-07T03:28:05","modified_gmt":"2014-09-07T03:28:05","slug":"the-walking-dead-pinball-360","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2014\/09\/19\/the-walking-dead-pinball-360\/","title":{"rendered":"The Walking Dead Pinball (360)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2014\/09\/19\/the-walking-dead-pinball-360\/dead_box-4\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12365\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-12365\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DEAD_BOX-150x100.jpg\" alt=\"DEAD_BOX\" width=\"150\" height=\"100\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DEAD_BOX-150x100.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DEAD_BOX-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DEAD_BOX.jpg 351w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a>Zombies are kind of a big deal right now in the entertainment world, and one of the most popular franchises is The Walking Dead.\u00a0 Originally an underground comic book, now it\u2019s one of the most-watched shows on cable TV, and a multi-million selling point and click adventure series from TellTale Games.\u00a0 And now it\u2019s also a pinball game from Zen Studios for various platforms on Pinball FX2 and Zen Pinball 2 (reviewed on 360 here).\u00a0 The Walking Dead Pinball is based on TellTale\u2019s point and click adventure game, so you\u2019ll get the most enjoyment out of it if you\u2019re familiar with that entry.<\/p>\n<p>When you download Pinball FX 2 or Zen Pinball 2 (depending on which game console you own), you\u2019re just downloading the hub.\u00a0 It\u2019s free, and then you purchase separate tables for play in the game.<\/p>\n<p>Even though personally I\u2019m not a big fan of The Walking Dead or zombies in general, I have to say that the pinball game is one of Zen Studios better pinball tables.\u00a0 The ramps are easy to spot and the rules are simple to understand.\u00a0 Multiball is quick to obtain and missions are easy to find.\u00a0 In each mission you\u2019ll have to choose who to save, just like in the point and click adventure game.\u00a0 There is even a mini-table to try, and a neat sniping mini-game where you use the left and right flipper buttons to move a reticule scope and fire at zombies with the plunger button like a shooting range!\u00a0 So if you\u2019re a big fan of The Walking Dead TV show and game, you\u2019ll definitely want to check out the pinball table, too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2014\/09\/19\/the-walking-dead-pinball-360\/dead_screen-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12366\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12366\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DEAD_SCREEN.jpg\" alt=\"DEAD_SCREEN\" width=\"496\" height=\"372\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DEAD_SCREEN.jpg 496w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DEAD_SCREEN-150x112.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/DEAD_SCREEN-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 496px) 100vw, 496px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kid Factor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even though Pinball FX 2 and Zen Pinball 2 is rated E for Everyone, I\u2019d have to say that The Walking Dead Pinball is better for older players.\u00a0 The table has a few scary looking zombies and sounds, but nothing horrific or very violent.\u00a0 However, it\u2019s based on a game and TV show that is extremely gory and violent, so because of that, this is the only Zen pinball game I\u2019d say is better for older players.\u00a0 It\u2019s too bad Zen Pinball doesn\u2019t have games based on other TellTale properties, like Sam &amp;
