\"LOVE_BOX\"<\/a>Supposedly, the love between two squares is the purest love of all. Or maybe not.\u00a0 Anyway, in this puzzle action game, you play as a walking square who has just fallen in love with the girl square of his dreams.\u00a0 But unfortunately, this geometrical gal will only date guys who wear the right clothes.\u00a0 Guide our hero and navigate mazes by twisting and turning your tablet device to help him fall through mazes and get the outfits she desires her man to wear.\u00a0 Fallin Love is available to download on iOS and Android devices, but reviewed on iPad here.<\/p>\n

Each level in the game is a single screen maze, and you can tap on the left and right sides of the screen to make your square dude move left and right. But you can\u2019t jump or climb or anything else.\u00a0 So to navigate the mazes, you must tilt and rotate your tablet or phone in 90 degree angles and gravity will set in and your square will fall to the new floor.\u00a0 But be careful as other blocks are affected by gravity, too, and you must make sure your square won\u2019t get squished.\u00a0 Also make sure you don\u2019t land on spikes, fall in pits, or run into enemies.\u00a0 You win the level when you find the disguise your girl wants, and then exit via the green door in the maze.<\/p>\n

Scattered about the levels are three hearts per maze. You\u2019ll want to collect as many as you can, because that\u2019s how you unlock new levels and worlds.\u00a0 Some are pretty challenging to get, though!\u00a0 Aside from the main game, there is also a survival mode where you try and last as long as you can in enemy-filled mazes.\u00a0 And there is also a Social Mode where you take on mazes and collect hearts, and hearts collected globally will unlock new levels.\u00a0 The only problem I had with this game is that you have to be really quick when turning your device to shift the maze.\u00a0 If you want to flip the maze 180 degrees, you have to be fast or your square will fall 90 degrees as you are turning.\u00a0 It may be easier with a smaller device like a phone, but it\u2019s a bit harder with a bulkier, bigger iPad.<\/p>\n

If your square gets smashed by a block, runs into spikes, or falls into a pit, you\u2019ll hear a squishing sound and your character will break up into smaller square bits. But that\u2019s as violent as it gets. Reading skill is helpful for the text instructions, but the game is pretty easy to figure out just by playing.\u00a0 Younger gamers may get frustrated at some of the tougher levels, and parental supervision is recommended for the in-game purchases (luckily there is only one, which unlocks all levels).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
