The title of this game has three L’s right in a row. Not sure if it’s pronounced Fell lice or what, but in this game you play as a simple circular cell and try to absorb other cells to be the biggest of them all. It’s available for download on the App Store and Google Play, but reviewed on iPad here.

To move your cell, simply tap on the screen where you want to go and the cell will move there. In the main game, your job is to absorb smaller cells so you can grow bigger and capture larger cells. But be careful, if a larger cell bumps into you, you’ll lose all your smaller cells and must collect them again. Sometimes bigger cells will pulsate, and you must time your movements to capture them when they’re small. When you are the biggest cell, you win the game. There are no other higher levels to go to, so this part of the game lacks a lot of substance. You can try and earn achievements in this mode, but since you don’t know what they are, it makes striving for goals a little meandering.

The other mode in the title has a bit more gameplay to it. In Arena mode, you are challenged to absorb large complicated cells made of different sized circles. You must use strategy and skill to defeat each one. This mode gets challenging pretty quickly, though. The only other things you can do are view your unlocked achievements and play a tutorial. While I like these kinds of games, this one in particular lacks enough substance to keep playing.

Kid Factor:

Since the game just uses black and white abstract shapes, there is nothing objectionable.
