Help Scott Lang shrink down with his special ant suit to battle bad guys and save the day…on a pinball table! Ant-Man Pinball is available for consoles and devices that support Zen Pinball 2 and Pinball FX2 platforms. (Reviewed on 360 here)

You can download and play the new Ant-Man table on consoles that support Zen Studios’ pinball platforms. When you download Pinball FX 2 or Zen Pinball 2 (depending on which game console you own), you’re just downloading the hub. It’s free, and then you purchase separate tables for play in the game.

In the Ant-Man table, you’ll shoot up ramps to collect species of ants, shrink down and challenge a mini-game table that looks like you’re under a magnifying glass, and battle Yellowjacket. My favorite part is hitting this giant blue ball in a metal basket on the top part of the screen. The more you hit it, the smaller it gets. And when it gets small enough, it’ll fall through the bottom of the basket and you get instant multiball mode, which is always fun.

Only problems I had with this one was the mini-table was hard to see and the giant flippers in it make your ball bounce all over the place. And it was a little hard to figure out how to activate missions and modes. But I do like some of the creative ideas, quick multiball modes, and it’s a high scoring table, which is always fun. So if you enjoy Ant-Man and pinball, you’ll want to download this.

Kid Factor:

Zen Studios pinball games are rated E for Everyone with an ESRB descriptor of Comic Mischief. But hey, it’s pinball. Safe, fairly non-violent, and no reading required. And kids love super heroes. A good choice for a downloadable game. If you’re OK with your kids watching the movie, they’ll be OK with this game, too.

Hot off the heels of Marvel’s newest film comes Ant-Man Pinball from Zen Studios.
