This time we have more critters from Animal Crossing, including my favorite character. Also, another favorite game of mine gets an Amiibo figure, which is a bit of a surprise!<\/p>\n<p>First of all is another set of Animal Crossing Amiibo for use in games like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2016\/01\/22\/the-mini-games-of-animal-crossing-amiibo-festival\/\"><strong>Amiibo Festival<\/strong><\/a> and Happy Home Designer. In the packages we have Blathers the Owl, his little sister Celeste, and below that we have Resetti the mole and Kicks the Skunk.\u00a0 Kicks shined your shoes in City Folk and ran a shoe store in New Leaf.\u00a0 Oh, and over beside them is Lucas from Smash Bros. and Mother 3.\u00a0 But who cares about Lucas?\u00a0 Just kidding!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/animal1-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-14581\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14581\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ANIMAL1.jpg\" alt=\"ANIMAL1\" width=\"477\" height=\"459\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ANIMAL1.jpg 477w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ANIMAL1-150x144.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ANIMAL1-300x289.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 477px) 100vw, 477px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Blathers the Owl is my favorite Animal Crossing character because he runs the museums in the games and that\u2019s my favorite part of those titles. I love the attention to detail they gave Blathers in Amiibo Festival. If you pick him as your player and it\u2019s your turn, if it is daytime, he\u2019ll be asleep and then wake with a start, just like how he does when you talk to him during the day in the museum (he is an owl after all).\u00a0 But if it\u2019s nighttime in the board game, he\u2019ll be awake.\u00a0 Anyway, here are what the Amiibo figures look like out of their boxes.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/animal2-2\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-14582\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14582\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ANIMAL2.jpg\" alt=\"ANIMAL2\" width=\"468\" height=\"165\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ANIMAL2.jpg 468w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ANIMAL2-150x53.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/ANIMAL2-300x106.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One last Amiibo figure before I go.
