When you play cards of a color, meters will fill up on the bottom right of the screen.\u00a0 When you have enough of a certain color, you can cast a magic spell.\u00a0 These spells can do various things, like heal yourself or give you armor, stun the enemy, or destroy some cards on the field.\u00a0 Use these spells to give you an edge in battle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">After you win a fight, you\u2019ll earn gold.\u00a0 Use gold in the shop between battles to buy more powerful spells and other items that\u2019ll help you out.\u00a0 Don\u2019t be afraid to spend your money either!\u00a0 Because once you lose all your hit points, you\u2019ll have to start over from the very beginning, and you don\u2019t get to keep the gold you earn or the spells you buy.\u00a0 But when you do lose, you\u2019ll earn special crystals that you can use to buy more powerful decks to use next time.\u00a0 And you get to keep those!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">That\u2019s really the only problem I had with the game, actually.\u00a0 And it\u2019s not so much of a problem as it is an annoyance, since the game was designed to be like that.\u00a0 With only 18 monsters to battle, they had to make it challenging, and since Solitaire is different every time you play it, it doesn\u2019t get too old with repeated plays.\u00a0 Although the design choices did deter a sense of progression a little bit, and it did get a little boring fighting the same monsters over and over again, even if they do switch them up slightly.\u00a0 And don\u2019t worry, you only have to start over again if you die.\u00a0 If you are in the middle of fighting monsters and quit the game, it\u2019ll start you up at the last monster you fought.\u00a0 But aside from that minor quibble, this is a pretty decent and well-designed game of Solitaire.\u00a0 And unlike <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2016\/06\/29\/pocket-card-jockey-3ds\/\"><strong>Pocket Card Jockey<\/strong><\/a>, another Solitaire game I reviewed and loved, you don\u2019t have to hurry when playing this one.\u00a0 You can take your time and relax, sort of!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/solitairica_screen\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15472\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/SOLITAIRICA_SCREEN.jpg\" alt=\"SOLITAIRICA_SCREEN\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/SOLITAIRICA_SCREEN.jpg 500w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/SOLITAIRICA_SCREEN-150x84.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/SOLITAIRICA_SCREEN-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">Kid Factor:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Times New Roman;\">Even though you\u2019re fighting monsters, there\u2019s nothing really violent in this game.\u00a0 When the monsters attack, they may show a picture of them biting your head or something silly like that, but that\u2019s it.\u00a0 Reading skill is a must, but one thing I like is that they actually show you how to play Solitaire first.\u00a0 I\u2019ve played many Solitaire games where they just assume the player knows how to do things, but for some kids, this may be their first time playing Solitaire.\u00a0 Also, since this is a premium game, there are no in-game ads or purchases!\u00a0 Yay!<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This isn\u2019t your typical Solitaire game!\u00a0 It\u2019s a mix of the familiar single player card classic mixed with RPG battle elements!\u00a0 Fight the monster armies of Emperor Stuck by challenging crazy characters.\u00a0 It\u2019s available to download on iOS and PC, but reviewed on iPad here.
