The two biggest releases this week are the multi-platform <strong>Afro Samurai<\/strong> and <strong>Coraline<\/strong>, both based on licensed franchised &#8211; the first a cartoon and the second the upcoming stop-motion film. Vegas Heist<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As for last week &#8230; the multi-platform <strong>Skate 2<\/strong> has shown to be a nice addition to the series and loads of fun, while the PSP game <strong>Star Ocean: Second Evolution<\/strong> is very much an average experience that is better than the first but not all that great.  I have now had the chance to play some of the PC version of <strong>Mirror&#8217;s Edge<\/strong> and found it to be loads of stylized fun , but light on the plot and replayability.  But given my penchant to sniff out potential &#8216;console-itis&#8217;, I was pleased that it was a great game that felt custom tailored for the PC.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What I&#8217;m Currently Playing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>PC:<\/em> <strong>Rise of the Argonauts<\/strong> &#8211; I really can&#8217;t wait until I finish the game, submit my review, and delete it forever &#8230;<\/li>\n<li><em>PC:<\/em> <strong>Arcanum <\/strong>&#8211; it is amazing how much longer it takes when you really read everything on screen.<\/li>\n<li> <em>Mac:<\/em> <strong>Call of Duty 4<\/strong> &#8211; someone was asking about performance and settings &#8230; and I ended up playing through the whole thing again &#8230;<\/li>\n<li><em>PSP:<\/em> <strong>Star Ocean: Second Evolution<\/strong>&#8211; very similar to the first with enhanced everything &#8230; but still not a great game.<\/li>\n<li><em>DS:<\/em> <strong>Moon <\/strong>&#8211; got stuck in a vehicle sequence with a poorly timed auto-save and had to restart.  Love the game, hate the driving parts.<\/li>\n<li><em>DS:<\/em> <strong>Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Jedi Alliance<\/strong>&#8211; just starting &#8211; you know it is bad when your kids aren&#8217;t even interested!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enjoy gaming!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Not too much of note this week.
