NT. I’ll probably write a full blog about that game soon, but when I opened the box for the game, there was an advertisement with a special promotion with Cup Noodles, an instant ramen product. They had Final Fantasy characters on the boxes and everything! I thought that was kind of weird, so I decided to check it out. Read on to see what I found!

So after talking about it with one of my brothers, he said that Final Fantasy XV had a cooking mini-game, and one of the things you could cook was Cup Noodles. So I guess the cross promotion makes sense now. You’d think they would’ve had the Cup Noodles promotion be for that game, and not Dissidia, but who knows? Maybe they had another one with FFXV and I didn’t know about it. I never played that game and probably never will.

I’m not really a big fan of ramen noodles either. I don’t HATE them, but I never crave them and if ramen noodles ceased to exist from this world tomorrow, I wouldn’t be too upset. It’s kind of like bananas. I don’t hate bananas, but if there were no more bananas left in this world tomorrow, I’d be fine.

When I went to grocery stores to see if they had those Final Fantasy noodles, I was pleasantly surprised to find that every store I went to had them. So it wasn’t like Super Mario Cereal! And since they were so cheap, I decided to buy some and write an article about them. And man, they really were cheap! The single cups were pocket change and the 3 packs were a buck at the dollar store. No wonder why college kids eat this stuff. I might’ve had to learn to like ramen noodles when I was in college, kind of like how I did with Taco Bell. But instant ramen noodles weren’t as commonplace back then as they are now, from what I remember anyway. And don’t worry, even though I don’t like ramen, these won’t go to waste, as I’ll just give them to my brothers when I’m done writing this article. They’ll eat ‘em!

So here are the single cups with a FF character on each. Not sure why the Warrior of Light from the first Final Fantasy game is on the Beef flavor. Maybe it’s because that game was so tough, you really had to ‘beef’ up your stats! Ha ha! Also not sure why Cloud is on the chicken flavor. Maybe because Cloud and Chicken both start with C, or maybe his hair matches the packaging better, or maybe it’s because he’s just a big chicken in the game! Last is Lightning on the shrimp flavor. Maybe she’s on there because her pink hair matches the packaging, or maybe she likes shrimp in the game. Although by looking at the expression on her face in the picture, it doesn’t look as if she likes much of anything. I tried each flavor but couldn’t really tell much of a difference. Maybe it’s the broth. Anyway, here are pictures of the three cups.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-17489" characters on them, too. I took pictures of them so you could see the characters on top as well. Glad to see that my favorite character, Terra from FF6, made it on one of the boxes. I wish she could’ve gotten her own flavor ramen, but I don’t know what it would’ve been. I couldn’t find the 3 pack of the shrimp flavor, but I wasn’t going to go TOO much out of my way for ramen. So here is a picture of the others.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-17490" src="http://www.gamerdad.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2018/02/NOODLE3.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="181" this ramen? Well you can get a code to unlock a new outfit for Noctis to wear. He’s the main character in FFXV and playable in Dissidia NT. I’m kind of surprised he’s not on one of the noodle boxes, especially considering the past cross promotion, but oh well. But you have to go a roundabout way to get the code for his outfit. First you have to text a certain number, then take a picture of your receipt and send that along. So make sure to save it! Then about 48 hours later (it took a day and a half for me), you’ll get a code to enter into your PS4 to get that in the game. But the text with the code said it would expire in 2028. I doubt too many people will be playing the PS4 ten years from now, much less this game, so I thought that was kind of strange. Anyway, the outfit you unlock for Noctis is called the Royal Raiment, and it’s a business suit. So if you want to see Noctis wearing a dress suit in Dissidia, go eat some noodles!

That’s all for now! Let me know what you think of this in the comments section!
