\"\"<\/a>McDonald\u2019s recently had more Mario themed toys in their Happy Meals.\u00a0 And thanks to my family, I managed to get them all.\u00a0 So I figured I\u2019d show them to you here.\u00a0 Unfortunately I don\u2019t think that McDonald\u2019s is still doing this promotion at the time of this writing.\u00a0 I wanted to post this earlier but I just couldn\u2019t find the time.\u00a0 But sometimes McDonald\u2019s will give out old toys if they run out of new ones so maybe you can still get them.\u00a0 Anyway, let\u2019s take a look at what they are.<\/p>\n

So the first three are of Mario and his brother.\u00a0 The first toy on the left has Mario holding his Cappy hat with eyes from Super Mario Odyssey.\u00a0 You\u2019re supposed to twist Mario and he\u2019ll throw the cap and you try to land it on a target.\u00a0 But he really just looks like he drops the hat.\u00a0 The next toy is of Mario jumping to hit a block.\u00a0 Press him up into the block and icons spin in the block and you try to get them to be all three stars, like a slot machine.\u00a0 But they don\u2019t spin independently like a slot machine, so the only combination you can get three of in a row are stars.\u00a0 But I guess that\u2019s asking too much from a Happy Meal toy.\u00a0 Last is Fire Luigi.\u00a0 You\u2019re supposed to get him to throw the fireball to hit the targets, but for the life of me I couldn\u2019t figure out how to get him to hold the fireball.<\/p>\n

Next up are ones featuring Yoshi.\u00a0 First is a spinner.\u00a0 You hold the button to spin the wheel and release it to stop.\u00a0 Then you can play a game of Yoshi Bingo with the included cards.\u00a0 Pretty cute.\u00a0 The other is one of Yoshi in the clouds, and you\u2019re supposed to use this plastic thing to shoot him out to hit targets, but I couldn\u2019t figure out how to get it to work.<\/p>\n

The last three toys are the least impressive.\u00a0 One is a foldable block puzzle featuring blocks from the Mario games (Question Block, bricks, note block, etc.).\u00a0 You have these pieces of paper that show you a pattern to make, but it\u2019s not very hard.\u00a0 Next is a pachinko pinball type of game.\u00a0 The classic Super Mario Bros. background is kind of neat.\u00a0 And last is a marble maze game with two sides.<\/p>\n

So yeah, those are the toys.\u00a0 I wasn\u2019t impressed with most of them, although they still look nice.\u00a0 I wish Nintendo and McDonald\u2019s would do toys of other franchises besides Mario, though, like Kirby or Animal Crossing.\u00a0 What do you think? \u00a0–Cary<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
