Animal Park (Switch)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/animal_box-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-18968\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ANIMAL_BOX-93x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"93\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ANIMAL_BOX-93x150.jpg 93w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ANIMAL_BOX-185x300.jpg 185w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ANIMAL_BOX.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 93px) 100vw, 93px\" \/><\/a>Have fun with all sorts of critters in this animal themed party game for Nintendo Switch.\u00a0 Your hosts are a puppet lion and rabbit, but the two-player party games feature all sorts of real animals like penguins, pandas, giraffes, dogs, pigs, meerkats and many more!<\/p>\n<p>There are three main modes of play.\u00a0 In Tour Mode, two players compete in a succession of mini-games to win medals.\u00a0 Whoever has the most medals at the end of the tour, wins.\u00a0 You can choose how long you want to play.\u00a0 There is also a mode where two players can just play a single mini-game.\u00a0 There are also a selection of single player games as well.<\/p>\n<p>The mini-games are short and require you to use the motion controls on the JoyCon controllers.\u00a0 Tilt the controllers back and forth to steer a penguin in a sliding race.\u00a0 Flick the controller to throw flower garland rings around meerkats or giraffes.\u00a0 Make up and down motions to tell pigs or dogs when to jump or duck in a race.\u00a0 There are many more games than that, too.\u00a0 Before each game, you get instructions and picture cues on how to play.\u00a0 You can even practice before the actual game.\u00a0 But sometimes the instructions still aren\u2019t very clear and it may take a few tries to get the hang of it.<\/p>\n<p>Other than that, the other main problems with the game is that most of it is two-player only.\u00a0 To get to the single player stuff, you have to unlock it by playing a short game in Tour Mode first.\u00a0 And even then, there are only ten single player games out of the 30, and many of the others could\u2019ve been implemented as single player games I think.\u00a0 It can also work the other way around, too.\u00a0 They could\u2019ve implemented some four player mini-games as well.\u00a0 I know it would require people having more JoyCons, but I think it would\u2019ve increased the game\u2019s potential.\u00a0 Finally, this game looks like something that could\u2019ve been done back on the Wii, two generations ago.\u00a0 If you are tired of games featuring a lot of waggle, you may not like this one.\u00a0 However, if you have kids who have never played the Wii, this would be new to them, so they may enjoy it more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/animal_screen-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18969\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ANIMAL_SCREEN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ANIMAL_SCREEN.jpg 500w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ANIMAL_SCREEN-150x84.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ANIMAL_SCREEN-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kid Factor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>FUN! FUN!
