(reviewed on iPad here).\u00a0 Pick out Barbie and friends\u2019 clothes, accessories, hair, make up, and more!<\/p>\n<p>Using the touch screen, players are first prompted to pick a Barbie of varying ethnicities.\u00a0 Then you can pick out outfits for them to wear.\u00a0 Tops, bottoms, shoes, whole ensembles, and more!\u00a0 You can even dress them in mermaid and fairy outfits.\u00a0 Then you can choose their hairstyle and makeup.\u00a0 Select from different colors, or use the touch screen to draw your own styles.\u00a0 The neat thing about this is that it only draws on the parts you want it to, like only on the hair or lips.\u00a0 That way it won\u2019t look like Barbie was on the losing end of a fight with her makeup bag.\u00a0 When you\u2019re done, choose a background and take a picture.\u00a0 And that\u2019s pretty much all you do in the game.\u00a0 Each day you play you\u2019ll unlock a new hairstyle, makeup color, or outfit.\u00a0 You can also purchase outfits with real money in the shop as well.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/barbie_screen-5\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-20777\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/BARBIE_SCREEN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"392\" height=\"697\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/BARBIE_SCREEN.jpg 392w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/BARBIE_SCREEN-169x300.jpg 169w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/BARBIE_SCREEN-84x150.jpg 84w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 392px) 100vw, 392px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kid Factor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reading skill isn\u2019t needed as everything is prompted with voices and picture cues.\u00a0 Parental supervision is highly recommended for the in-game purchases and ads, though.\u00a0 And I\u2019m sure the whole game is just one big ad for the new Barbie closet toy, as well as the dolls themselves.\u00a0 While I think a real Barbie doll and clothes would be more entertaining for a kid, those dolls and outfits can get EXPENSIVE so this may be a good compromise.\u00a0 And it encourages creative expression, too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Toy icon Barbie is known to be a fashionista, but where does she put all her clothes?\u00a0 Must be a pretty big closet!\u00a0 Her closet is so big, in fact, that it gets its own mobile game!
