I don\u2019t have to explain how to play solitaire, do I?\u00a0 Well I\u2019m not.\u00a0 Luckily the game has a text tutorial if you don\u2019t know how.\u00a0 You\u2019ll use the left stick to move around a cursor to select cards.\u00a0 The game does a good job of knowing where the cards go when you select them, or you can just hold the button and drag them into place.\u00a0 On the bottom of the screen is a meter that fills when you do a move.\u00a0 If you can quickly do another move while it\u2019s going down, you\u2019ll get a combo and your score will increase.\u00a0 So you can try for a high score if you like.\u00a0 You can view your records on the main menu.<\/p>\n

There are three difficulty selections.\u00a0 Easy lets you have three hints, three chances to shuffle cards, and three chances to draw a single card to use from the playfield.\u00a0 Normal gives you three hints and one of each of the others.\u00a0 Hard gives you none of that and makes you draw three cards at a time with only the first one usable.\u00a0 Only problem is I swear I\u2019d pick a certain difficulty, only for the game to give me another one.\u00a0 Not sure if that\u2019s a bug or what.\u00a0 Also the game says it\u2019ll save your progress, but that\u2019s misleading because it doesn\u2019t.\u00a0 If you stop in the middle of the game, it\u2019ll start you back at the beginning when you come back.<\/p>\n

Before you play, you\u2019ll also chose a lady who will stand on the left side of the screen.\u00a0 As you match cards, a new outfit will slowly reveal itself on her, and if you win you\u2019ll unlock it.\u00a0 You can view all unlocked outfits in the dressing room at the main menu. Sometimes you may have to play the game on other difficulty levels to unlock all the outfits.\u00a0 Gives you another goal I guess, but it just felt like some anime lady was staring at you while you\u2019re trying to play.\u00a0 \u201cUm, excuse me, I\u2019m trying to play solitaire here, can I help you?\u201d<\/p>\n

The solitaire game is decent enough, and it\u2019s really easy to get the Platinum trophy for on the PS4.\u00a0 \u00a0Although it can\u2019t beat my favorite one: Pocket Card Jockey on the Nintendo 3DS.\u00a0 That one combined solitaire and horse racing!\u00a0 I wish Nintendo would re-release that one on the Switch!<\/p>\n

Pretty Girls Klondike Solitaire is rated T for Teen with an ESRB descriptor of Sexual Themes.\u00a0 The anime ladies are very busty, but they are all still fully clothed, even when you reveal their new outfits.\u00a0 Although they seemed pretty embarrassed when this happens.\u00a0 Not sure what they\u2019re saying either, since it\u2019s all in Japanese.\u00a0 Also, the beginning of the game has a disclaimer that all ladies depicted are 18 years or older, which is suspicious considering they\u2019re all wearing uniforms and the title screen plays the clock chimes from Japanese schools.\u00a0 Because of all this I\u2019d say the game is best for older players.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
