{"id":21585,"date":"2021-10-18T00:01:16","date_gmt":"2021-10-18T00:01:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/?p=21585"},"modified":"2021-09-12T13:01:54","modified_gmt":"2021-09-12T13:01:54","slug":"italy-land-of-wonders-mobile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2021\/10\/18\/italy-land-of-wonders-mobile\/","title":{"rendered":"Italy: Land of Wonders (Mobile)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/italy_box\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-21574\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/ITALY_BOX.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"139\" height=\"103\" \/><\/a>You have just taken a job as a lighthouse keeper in Italy, but it turns out to be more than that.\u00a0 You learn that you must collect sparks that keep Italy beautiful every night, with the help from some spirits of course.\u00a0 Gather these sparks by playing a puzzle maze game while you learn facts about Italy\u2019s geography, architecture, food, culture, and landmarks.\u00a0 Not surprisingly, this game was actually published by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, maybe to promote tourism or something?\u00a0 At any rate, this game is free on mobile devices, but reviewed on iPad here.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll start in a region of Italy and each level is a little isometric maze.\u00a0 You can rotate parts of the maze by tapping on them, and your job is to make a clear path to the spark at the end.\u00a0 In some levels you must finish within a time limit, while other levels you have a certain number of moves.\u00a0 The very last level in each region requires you to make a path to two sparks!\u00a0 When you complete a level, you\u2019ll earn stars and an entry in a notebook with pictures and facts on Italy that you can view at any time.<\/p>\n<p>If you run out of moves in a level, you have the option to answer a quiz question about Italy for more moves, or you can buy them with the stars you\u2019ve collected from completed levels.
