Well, that continues to be true this week!  The DS has some solid releases for everyone to play on their new DSi such as  <strong>Dark Spire<\/strong> and  <strong>C.O.R.E. <\/strong> while the PC has some interesting stuff such as <strong>Demigod<\/strong> from Gas Powered Games, whose previous works include <strong>Dungeon Siege I &amp; II <\/strong> and  <strong>Supreme Commander<\/strong> and the unfortunate  <strong>Space Siege<\/strong> &#8230; so we hope this is much better. The big multi-platform releases <strong>The Godfather II<\/strong> and <strong>The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena<\/strong> were both very average, which was also true of the PC games <strong>Elven Legacy<\/strong> and <strong>Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor<\/strong>.  Probably the best new release was the DS game <strong>Rhythm Heaven<\/strong>,<\/p>\n<p>I have very much been enjoying the DSi.  Beyond the fun little music and photo stuff, the build is very nice and the added screen real estate is appreciated.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What I&#8217;m Currently Playing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>PC:<\/em> <strong>Elven Legacy<\/strong> &#8211; th eshine has worn off somewhat, but I am still enjoying the turn-based battles, just not so much the turn-limits for missions!<\/li>\n<li><em>PC:<\/em> <strong>Neverwinter Nights 2: Mysteries of Westgate<\/strong> &#8211; settled back into a long play session with this and it continues to be a great experience whose only drawbacks are related to the core NWN2 engine.<\/li>\n<li><em>PC:<\/em> <strong>The Last Remnant<\/strong> &#8211; pretty typical jRPG experience, nice looking game, too many cutscenes.  It feels like a huge game and I&#8217;ve put in tons of time and barely scratched the surface!<\/li>\n<li><em>PC:<\/em> <strong>Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor<\/strong> &#8211; after loving the original and first expansion I&#8217;m rather disappointed, as the new content adds little and is over too fast.<\/li>\n<li><em>PC:<\/em> <strong>Hard to Be a God<\/strong> &#8211; don&#8217;t know if this import will ever hit the US, but I&#8217;m glad I grabbed a UK release.  Loads of dialogue &amp; translation issues, but the nice strategic action-RPG combat with solid mounted battles is loads of fun and worth the price alone.<\/li>\n<li><em>DS:<\/em> <strong>Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars<\/strong> &#8211; still haven&#8217;t completed anything, but am getting close enough that I really don&#8217;t want it to end yet &#8230;<\/li>\n<li><em>DS:<\/em> <strong>Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time<\/strong> &#8211; I liked teh first DS game, but this one is leaving me flat so far.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Enjoy gaming!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wasn&#8217;t it just last week I was saying that the releases were all about the DS &amp; PC?
