All you need are cell phones to play them!\u00a0 Just connect to Jackbox.tv on any phone and enter in the room code and you\u2019re in!\u00a0 It\u2019s pretty simple and works well, and in some games, even people who don\u2019t have cell phones can be part of the audience and participate.\u00a0 The Jackbox Party Starter is available on all current consoles and PC, but reviewed on PS4 here.\u00a0 Let\u2019s take a look at all the games!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Quiplash 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Quiplash, you must have three or more people to play.\u00a0 In each round you are prompted to answer a series of questions by typing your responses on your phone.\u00a0 Make sure they\u2019re funny and clever because when the answers are revealed on screen, the other players will vote on their favorite.\u00a0 Whoever gets a vote will earn points, and whoever has the most points at the end of a few rounds, wins.\u00a0 It\u2019s kind of like how you would play Apples to Apples or Cards Against Humanity.\u00a0 I had reviewed the original version of this game back on the Switch a few years ago, so you can check that out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2020\/09\/02\/quiplash-switch-ps4-ps3-xbox-one-pc-mobile\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>, too.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tee K.O.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This one kind of combines Quiplash with drawing.\u00a0 You must draw pictures for a t-shirt design, and then come up with clever phrases.\u00a0 The game then mixes them up and puts them on t-shirts, and you must vote on the best one.\u00a0 Whoever\u2019s designs get the most votes after a few rounds, wins.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Murder Trivia Party 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This one\u2019s also on Jackbox Party Pack 6, which I reviewed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2020\/03\/06\/the-jackbox-party-pack-6-ps4-switch-xbox-one-pc-mobile\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 It\u2019s a trivia game, but if you get a question wrong, you die.\u00a0 But don\u2019t worry, you won\u2019t be out of the game if that happens.\u00a0 As a ghost, you can steal the life force of other players and get a chance to come back, and in the newly added final round, it\u2019s anyone\u2019s game!<\/p>\n<p>Even though this is a smaller collection, all the games on here are fun and pretty easy to understand.\u00a0 Overall, this is a great collection of party games to bring out at your next get-together.\u00a0 The cell phone functionality works great and my family and I had a great time playing this.\u00a0 I\u2019d like to thank my family for playing this game with me and helping me with the review as well.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/jackbox_screen-2\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-22455\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/JACKBOX_SCREEN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/JACKBOX_SCREEN.jpg 500w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/JACKBOX_SCREEN-300x169.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/JACKBOX_SCREEN-150x84.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kid Factor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Jackbox Party Starter is rated T for Teen with ESRB descriptors of Drug References, Suggestive Themes, and Fantasy Violence.\u00a0 Right on the title screen is a toggle that lets you switch to a family friendly mode, which is a great idea.\u00a0 And you\u2019ll want to do that if kids are around, too, because otherwise the games\u2019 questions have no qualms about topics on sex and adult themes.\u00a0 Otherwise the game is only as dirty as you make it, so if you are playing with a group of rowdy adults, it could definitely get not so kid friendly.\u00a0 The Trivia Murder Party game may be about killing, but your player pieces are only represented by stuffed animals getting nailed to a wall.\u00a0 Although the deep voiced announcer and spooky sound effects can still be scary to little kids.\u00a0 Parental supervision is recommended for the in-game purchases, as you can actually buy the T-shirts you design in Tee K.O.!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you have a bunch of people over to play games, but not enough controllers to play with everyone, then Jackbox has you covered!\u00a0 Their latest batch of party games is out, and it\u2019s a smaller collection of some of their best titles.
