\"\"<\/a>Get ready for one of the weirdest pinball games I\u2019ve ever played!\u00a0 In Car Mechanic Pinball, you play pinball to fix up cars.\u00a0 But instead of tossing balls around with the flippers, here you toss a CAR around!\u00a0 This crazy pinball game is on Nintendo Switch, but I think I\u2019ve seen an arcade version of it, too.<\/p>\n

Gameplay is pretty simple.\u00a0 You start with a couple of cars in a parking lot.\u00a0 Select one and send it to the garage with the plunger.\u00a0 The garage is where you\u2019ll spend most of your time.\u00a0 This is a pinball field with flippers and bumpers.\u00a0 You must bump the car into the mechanics walking around.\u00a0 As you do this, you\u2019ll fill up a meter.\u00a0 Later on you may have to fill it up multiple times to finish fixing the car.\u00a0 When the car is fixed, press the button to open a door on the left and the car will kind of steer toward it and you\u2019ll earn money.<\/p>\n

Do this enough times and you\u2019ll earn more money.\u00a0 But if your car goes past the flippers, it\u2019ll end up in the landfill and the game will be over and you\u2019ll get whatever pay, if any, for that day.\u00a0 But eventually you\u2019ll earn enough money to buy upgrades.\u00a0 These include simple things like more parking spaces, or more mechanics on the field.\u00a0 One important upgrade is the tow truck, which gives you an extra life if your car hits the landfill.\u00a0 You can also get side bumpers that give your car gas, and then you can exit the garage and steer your car around with the flipper buttons to try and earn more points and coins by crashing into things.\u00a0 But I don\u2019t recommend doing this because it\u2019s an easy way for your car to get in the landfill, too.<\/p>\n

This game does have a few minor problems.\u00a0 The game is so unusual that it took a while to figure out how to play.\u00a0 And the ball physics are a bit wonky since you\u2019re using a car instead of a ball.\u00a0 I like the fact that the rules are super simple, but it also means the game gets repetitive quickly.\u00a0 But if you want a silly, weird pinball experience, you can\u2019t go wrong with this one.<\/p>\n

Kid Factor:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothing violent or objectionable here.\u00a0 You can crash into other cars, but nothing looks realistic and everything looks like toys anyway.\u00a0 Reading skill is helpful for some of the text, but not necessary just to play.\u00a0 Kids love making cars crash and doing weird stunts, so I imagine they\u2019d get a kick out of this one.\u00a0 Car Mechanic Pinball is rated E for Everyone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
