{"id":23149,"date":"2023-03-27T00:01:33","date_gmt":"2023-03-27T00:01:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/?p=23149"},"modified":"2023-02-06T12:49:35","modified_gmt":"2023-02-06T12:49:35","slug":"trophy-switch-xbox-one-x-s-pc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2023\/03\/27\/trophy-switch-xbox-one-x-s-pc\/","title":{"rendered":"Trophy (Switch, Xbox One, X\/S, PC)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/trophy_box\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-23135\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/TROPHY_BOX-150x119.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"119\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/TROPHY_BOX-150x119.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/TROPHY_BOX.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a>Originally a homebrew 8-bit NES game, you can now download Trophy on Switch, current Xbox consoles, and PC (reviewed on Switch here).\u00a0 In the game, two scientists travel to another planet and befriend sentient robots there.\u00a0 One of the scientists returns to Earth to report the findings, while the other one stays on the other planet and turns evil and takes it over.\u00a0 Now it\u2019s up to the other scientist to return to the planet, fuse with his robot friend to become Trophy, and save the day!\u00a0 Trophy is a 2-D sidescrolling run and gun platformer clearly inspired by classic Mega Man titles.<\/p>\n<p>As Trophy, you can run, jump, and shoot.\u00a0 And that\u2019s pretty much it.\u00a0 Blast anything that moves and avoid enemies.\u00a0 If you get hit too many times, your energy meter will drain and you\u2019ll have to start back at the last checkpoint.\u00a0 Run out of lives and you must start the level over again.\u00a0 Also similar to Mega Man, you can choose from eight stages to start from.
