\"\"<\/a>In honor of the release of the Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie, McDonald\u2019s recently had Happy Meal toys based on the characters from the film.\u00a0 I got a few of them, so let\u2019s check them out!<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a picture of the Happy Meal box.\u00a0 I like that they still use this style of box after all these years.<\/p>\n

And here\u2019s the other side of the box.<\/p>\n

I got three of the toys: Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles.\u00a0 The figures in the middle of the roller snaps in, so you can take it out and play with it separately.\u00a0 They also had Super Sonic, Shadow, and Super Shadow toys, but I didn\u2019t get those.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

One other thing to note is that on the Happy Meal box and toys boxes, they had a QR code you could scan to play a little Sonic game on your cell phone.\u00a0 In the game, you first choose to play as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, or Shadow.\u00a0 Then you roll around three different 3D mazes picking up as many Chaos Emeralds as you can.\u00a0 You can swipe left, right, or up to spin dash in that direction.\u00a0 But you only get a limited number of moves.\u00a0 After the three mazes, the game tallies your score and you can either play again or choose a different character.\u00a0 It\u2019s simple, but I don\u2019t know, I kind of liked it.\u00a0 Heck of a lot better than the other Happy Meal phone games I\u2019ve played.<\/p>\n

Speaking of the Sonic 3 movie, I saw it last month and it was pretty good.\u00a0 Especially if you liked the story in Sonic Adventure 2, as the movie takes close inspiration from that.\u00a0 And it\u2019s just a fun family movie, too.\u00a0 When I went, I got a special popcorn tin.\u00a0 I got the last one, too!\u00a0 It\u2019s embossed, and while the tin is a little thin and looks like it could dent easily, I\u2019m glad I was able to get it.\u00a0 Here\u2019s what it looks like:<\/p>\n
