{"id":25356,"date":"2025-02-03T00:01:23","date_gmt":"2025-02-03T00:01:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/?p=25356"},"modified":"2025-01-22T16:06:56","modified_gmt":"2025-01-22T16:06:56","slug":"popotinhos-adventures-ps4-ps5-switch-xbox-one-x-s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2025\/02\/03\/popotinhos-adventures-ps4-ps5-switch-xbox-one-x-s\/","title":{"rendered":"Popotinho&#8217;s Adventures (PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, X\/S)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/popo_box\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-25354\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/POPO_BOX-150x128.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"128\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/POPO_BOX-150x128.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/POPO_BOX.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a>I don\u2019t know if Popotinho is supposed to be an egg or a marshmallow or what, but one day while on an outing with his parents, Popotinho was misbehaving more than usual so his parents decided to punish him by leaving him alone and letting him find his way home.\u00a0 Well dang, that was kind of hardcore for such a simple game.\u00a0 But yeah, that\u2019s what the in-game story says!\u00a0 Anyway, guide your little egg dude through 50 stages of basic 2D platforming in Popotinho\u2019s Adventures.\u00a0 It&#8217;s available on all current consoles but reviewed on PS4 here.<\/p>\n<p>Guide your little egg left and right, and jump with the button.\u00a0 Press the button a second time in the air to do a double jump.\u00a0 When you do that, he\u2019ll spin around and can defeat enemies that way by stomping on them.\u00a0 You can take three hits, and when you lose all your hearts or fall into a pit, you must start the level over or at the last checkpoint flag you reached.\u00a0 You can also get an extra life by collecting 100 fruits scattered about the levels.\u00a0 Although since the levels are pretty short and easy, that doesn\u2019t really matter.<\/p>\n<p>For the most part, play control is decent but sometimes I wouldn\u2019t jump when I wanted, or I\u2019d fall through a platform, or my attacks wouldn\u2019t connect.\u00a0 But I still managed to get through all 50 stages because it\u2019s so short and easy.
