{"id":25366,"date":"2025-02-05T00:01:13","date_gmt":"2025-02-05T00:01:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/?p=25366"},"modified":"2025-01-25T12:53:44","modified_gmt":"2025-01-25T12:53:44","slug":"agent-fall-ps4-ps5-switch-xbox-one-x-s-pc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2025\/02\/05\/agent-fall-ps4-ps5-switch-xbox-one-x-s-pc\/","title":{"rendered":"Agent Fall (PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, X\/S, PC)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/agent_box\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-25364\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/AGENT_BOX-102x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"102\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/AGENT_BOX-102x150.jpg 102w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/AGENT_BOX.jpg 183w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 102px) 100vw, 102px\" \/><\/a>Be a secret agent and uncover an alien conspiracy in Agent Fall.\u00a0 It\u2019s a 2D side scrolling retro styled run and gun for one or two players.\u00a0 It\u2019s available on all current consoles and PC, but reviewed on PS4 here.<\/p>\n<p>When you start, you\u2019ll be able to pick from four secret agents: two guys and two gals, but they all play the same.\u00a0 You can also select your difficulty level, which is nice.\u00a0 Your agents can run and jump and when you hold down the X button, you\u2019ll fire your gun.\u00a0 Your normal shots go out one at a time and are infinite, but you can pick up guns with limited ammo so use them wisely.\u00a0 These include things like rapid fire machine guns, flame throwers, rocket launchers, etc.\u00a0 You also have a limited number of grenades you can throw with the circle button.\u00a0 Two can play at the same time, too.<\/p>\n<p>Really the only problem I had with this game is that it\u2019s so short.\u00a0 You go through a stage in the desert, then the secret base Area 41, then underground sewers, then a couple of short stages where you\u2019re on a motorcycle and in a corn field, and finally on the alien mothership.\u00a0 But even so, I could see people having some quick and simple, pick up and play couch co-op fun with this.\u00a0 Not super great, but not bad either.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/agent_screen\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-25365 alignnone\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/AGENT_SCREEN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/AGENT_SCREEN.jpg 500w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/AGENT_SCREEN-300x169.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/AGENT_SCREEN-150x84.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kid Factor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Agent Fall is rated E-10 with ESRB descriptors of Fantasy Violence and Mild Blood.\u00a0 You shoot all manner of guns at cartoony soldiers, lab guys, and aliens.\u00a0 And when they get hit, little splashes of red pixels come out.\u00a0 But that\u2019s it.\u00a0 Reading skill is helpful for the text, but not necessary just to play.\u00a0 The selectable difficulty levels make it so most skill levels can enjoy it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Be a secret agent and uncover an alien conspiracy in Agent Fall.\u00a0 It\u2019s a 2D side scrolling retro styled run and gun for one or two players.\u00a0 It\u2019s available on all current consoles and PC, but reviewed on PS4 here.
