{"id":25549,"date":"2025-04-09T00:01:37","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T00:01:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/?p=25549"},"modified":"2025-03-30T11:44:14","modified_gmt":"2025-03-30T11:44:14","slug":"ringos-roundup-switch-pc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2025\/04\/09\/ringos-roundup-switch-pc\/","title":{"rendered":"Ringo&#8217;s Roundup (Switch, PC)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/ringo_box\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-25544\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/RINGO_BOX-99x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"99\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/RINGO_BOX-99x150.jpg 99w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/RINGO_BOX-199x300.jpg 199w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/RINGO_BOX.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 99px) 100vw, 99px\" \/><\/a>Ringo is a bunny who happens to also be a postal worker.\u00a0 Help him drive around collecting all the letters and returning them to the mailbox in this puzzle game for Switch and PC (reviewed on Switch here).<\/p>\n<p>In the game, there are five worlds with ten levels each.\u00a0 Every level is viewed in an isometric perspective and is tile based.\u00a0 You can highlight each tile and put an arrow or trampoline on it.\u00a0 Place the arrows so that Ringo\u2019s car will drive in the right direction to gather all the mail.\u00a0 In that way it\u2019s kind of like Chu Chu Rocket if anyone remembers that game.\u00a0 Trampolines will make his car jump over one space holes, and tiles will disappear when you drive over them, so keep that in mind. \u00a0You have a limited amount to place so you\u2019ll have to use your noggin to think where they need to go.\u00a0 Once all your tiles are placed where you want them, hit the L and R button and Ringo will automatically drive his car.\u00a0 You beat the level when you collect all the mail and make it to the post box.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t get all the mail or bump into something or fall off the edge, you can start the level over as many times as you like.<\/p>\n<p>When you pass levels and perform well, you can earn a blue diamond thing and when you have enough you can buy new colors for your car.\u00a0 The levels get pretty tough quickly but luckily you can use hints.\u00a0 Only minor problem I had with this one is that the menus are a bit fiddly to navigate, but that\u2019s it.\u00a0 Otherwise it\u2019s a fairly decent little puzzler.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/ringo_screen\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25545\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/RINGO_SCREEN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/RINGO_SCREEN.jpg 500w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/RINGO_SCREEN-300x169.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/RINGO_SCREEN-150x84.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kid Factor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nothing violent or objectionable here.\u00a0 If you bump into something with the car, you just stop, and when you fall off the ledge you can just start over.\u00a0 Reading skill is helpful for the text and younger gamers may need help with the tougher puzzles.\u00a0 Ringo\u2019s Roundup is rated E for Everyone.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ringo is a bunny who happens to also be a postal worker.\u00a0 Help him drive around collecting all the letters and returning them to the mailbox in this puzzle game for Switch and PC (reviewed on Switch here).
