\"\"<\/a>The Minecraft Movie was recently released, and McDonald\u2019s promoted it with Happy Meals and other goodies.\u00a0 Let\u2019s take a look at them!<\/p>\n

Here is a bigger picture of the Happy Meal box.\u00a0 I always like it after all these years they still use the traditional box.\u00a0 This one has a llama from the movie, but I also saw a box with the green creeper on it.\u00a0 Unfortunately I didn\u2019t get that one with the Happy Meals I got.<\/p>\n

The apple slices in the Happy Meal even had Minecraft on it. It\u2019s an Apple Bee!\u00a0 Whoops, wrong restaurant!\u00a0 \u00a0I\u2019m surprised that they didn\u2019t have the bee on the honey mustard packets!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The toys I got were these little unfoldable boxes.\u00a0 Here are the ones I got, plus the box they came in.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

You can fold out the boxes to make a little play area, and the top of the box has a little figure.\u00a0 The ones I got have a llama and some girl, probably from the movie.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the display at McDonald\u2019s showing all the Happy Meal toys.<\/p>\n

The box for the toys also had a QR code you can scan to play a little Minecraft game.\u00a0 It shows you about to enter McDonalds in the real world but a portal opens up and sucks you into the Minecraft world.\u00a0 Now you\u2019ve got to go inside a blocky Minecraft McDonalds and craft materials to make it back to the real world!\u00a0 There are three levels, but they are all pretty much the same, only slightly faster.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The first thing you\u2019ll do is play a mini whack-a-mole style game where you tap Happy Meal boxes on tables when they appear.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

When that is done, you\u2019ll craft things using the resources you collected from the game.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t have enough, just play the game again.\u00a0 Once you craft all the materials in all three levels, you can open up the portal and go back to the real world.\u00a0 But you look back and see the characters cheering you on the other side!<\/p>\n

They also had a Minecraft Movie Meal for adults.\u00a0 But they were out of stock when I tried to get them.\u00a0 And I went to McDonalds just days after the promotion started.\u00a0 They either ran out very quickly or didn\u2019t get any at all.\u00a0 I\u2019m kind of sad I didn\u2019t get one because the prizes look like they were based on classic McDonalds characters.<\/p>\n
