{"id":25735,"date":"2025-06-23T00:01:39","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T00:01:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/?p=25735"},"modified":"2025-06-14T13:57:01","modified_gmt":"2025-06-14T13:57:01","slug":"cornhole-hero-mobile","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2025\/06\/23\/cornhole-hero-mobile\/","title":{"rendered":"Cornhole Hero (Mobile)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/corn_box\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-25721 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/CORN_BOX-150x75.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"75\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/CORN_BOX-150x75.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/CORN_BOX.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a>I didn\u2019t even know what \u201cCornhole\u201d was until a few months ago.\u00a0 Sounds like an insult or what Beavis says when he has too much sugar or caffeine.\u00a0 But no, it\u2019s a game where you throw bean bags on a board and try to get them to land on it or in a hole.\u00a0 I think we played something like this at elementary school fairs and such.\u00a0 But what if Cornhole was popular enough in the 70s and 80s to warrant making an Atari 2600 game out of it?\u00a0 Because you know they would.\u00a0 Well now you can see what that\u2019s like with Cornhole Hero, a free-to-play mobile game (reviewed on iPad here).<\/p>\n<p>Cornhole Hero has three modes of play: Tournament, Blitz, and Balloon.\u00a0 In Tournament, you must score a certain number of points with five bean bags to move onto the next round.\u00a0 In Blitz, you have 30 seconds to get as high of a score as you can.\u00a0 And in Balloon, you must throw bags to pop balloons in the air.
