\"\"<\/a>Hallmark always has a wide variety of Christmas ornaments every year, and in the past few years they\u2019ve even had lots of video game themed ones!\u00a0 I got a bunch of them this year as well, as I always do, so let\u2019s take a look at them!<\/p>\n

Elephant Mario<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first one is the next in the \u201cPowered Up With Mario\u201d series.\u00a0 This time it\u2019s Elephant Mario from Super Mario Bros. Wonder.\u00a0 I was wondering when they\u2019d get to this one.\u00a0 But man, this one is HUGE!\u00a0 I don\u2019t know how a Christmas tree limb would hold it.\u00a0 It\u2019s really well made, though, with glassy eyes and even a tail.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t think Mario was such an Alabama fan.\u00a0 But he DOES wear red all the time.\u00a0 Roll Tide, Mario, Roll Tide!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Mario Kart: Princess Peach<\/strong><\/p>\n

Every year for a while they\u2019ve done a Mario Kart ornament, and this year it\u2019s Princess Peach.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Bowser, Peach, Toad<\/strong><\/p>\n

These ornaments aren\u2019t in the Hallmark catalog.\u00a0 And sometimes you can buy them at other stores.\u00a0 They\u2019re a bit simpler but more affordable.\u00a0 I got the Bowser and Peach ones at Hallmark but the Toad one at Wal-Mart.\u00a0 I had to get Toad, he\u2019s my favorite Mario character!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Goomba<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hallmark makes a selection of mini ornaments as well, for smaller, desktop trees.\u00a0 This year for Mario they have a Goomba.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Singing Jigglypuff<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pok\u00e9mon really took center stage this year, as they had more ornaments than Mario!\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s because Pok\u00e9mon Legends ZA recently came out.\u00a0 I\u2019ll get that one eventually, as I liked Pok\u00e9mon Legend Arceus pretty well.\u00a0 Anyway, speaking of center stage, here\u2019s a battery operated Jigglypuff and when you press a button, she sings her song from the anime.\u00a0 You know, the one that makes everyone sleep when she sings and then she gets mad and draws on their faces before they wake up?\u00a0 Luckily batteries are included with this ornament.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Pikachu<\/strong><\/p>\n

At first I was like, \u2018wait a minute, don\u2019t I already have a Pikachu ornament?\u2019\u00a0 Well I do, but it\u2019s in a different pose.\u00a0 The old one is running, and this one is standing and waving.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Venusaur<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the final evolution of Bulbasaur.\u00a0 In the original Pok\u00e9mon game, Bulbasaur was the one I picked, so by the time he evolved into Venusaur, he was a good \u2018catching Pok\u00e9mon\u2019 because I had him learn all the spore moves that affect the others\u2019 status so it made them easier to catch!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Holiday Rowlett<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now for the mini Pok\u00e9mon ornaments.\u00a0 Here\u2019s Rowlett, a starter from one of the Pok\u00e9mon games that I can\u2019t remember.\u00a0 It was my starter for Pok\u00e9mon Legends: Arceus, though.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now this one\u2019s cute!\u00a0 It\u2019s the three original starter Pok\u00e9mon decked out for Christmas.\u00a0 Bulbasaur has a hat, Squirtle has a snowball, and Charmander has presents.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Decayed Master Sword<\/strong><\/p>\n

For Zelda they had the Decayed Master Sword from Tears of the Kingdom.\u00a0 It\u2019s really well made, and feels more like metal than cheap plastic.\u00a0 Not to spoil too much, but I kind of wish they did an ornament based on another character related to this weapon, but that\u2019s all I\u2019ll say about that.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Super Sonic<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sonic the Hedgehog got an ornament this year as well, this time it\u2019s Super Sonic.\u00a0 He\u2019s supposed to be in a \u2018flying pose\u2019 so he doesn\u2019t stand very well.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Timmy and Tommy<\/strong><\/p>\n

I\u2019m glad they did another Animal Crossing one this year.\u00a0 This time it\u2019s Timmy and Tommy.\u00a0 I can\u2019t tell if they are standing on snow or sand, but since they are in their winter outfits, maybe it\u2019s snow.\u00a0 Although to me it looks like they\u2019re standing on a giant Pop Tart.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And those are all the video game themes ornaments I got.\u00a0 They had others, like ones from Minecraft and Fortnite.\u00a0 But I didn\u2019t get those since I\u2019m not into those games.\u00a0 They had an Xbox 360 console ornament, and while I loved the 360, I didn\u2019t get that one because it played the HALO song and I\u2019m not really a fan of that game.\u00a0 They also had a really cool Mario star tree topper that was big and played music and lit up.\u00a0 But it was like, 90 bucks so I passed on it.\u00a0 I can get a smaller one on Amazon for 20 bucks if I really wanted one.<\/p>\n

Garfield<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anyway, the last three ornaments are from cartoons that I really like.\u00a0 Although they\u2019ve all been in video games as well so maybe they count.\u00a0 First up is Garfield.\u00a0 I was a huge Garfield fan when I was a kid, so I had to get this one.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Darkwing Duck<\/strong><\/p>\n

When I was a kid, I LOVED the Disney Afternoon cartoons.\u00a0 So I was pleasantly surprised to see a Darkwing ornament this year!\u00a0 I had to get it.\u00a0 I love how the title of the ornament is \u201cLet\u2019s Get Dangerous!\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Rescue Rangers<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not only are Chip N Dale my favorite Disney characters, Rescue Rangers is probably my number one favorite cartoon, so I had to get this one, too.\u00a0 So glad Disney hasn\u2019t forgotten about these guys!<\/p>\n
