\"\"<\/a>Kirby Air Riders was recently released, and of course I got it.\u00a0 I\u2019m a big fan of the first game on the GameCube (and Kirby in general) and this was really the game that sold me on the Switch 2.\u00a0 And of course they have amiibo figures to go along with it.\u00a0 The first batch of them is Kirby on a Warp Star and Bandana Waddle Dee on a Wing Star.\u00a0 The cool thing is that you can swap them out of their rides and onto the other, kind of like Skylanders: Swap Force<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 So let\u2019s take a look at them!<\/p>\n

You can take them off the rides, as shown here.\u00a0 The cool thing about the Kirby figure is that it swivels so you can make him face in any direction on the rides.<\/p>\n

And here they are on each others\u2019 rides.\u00a0 They connect via magnets.<\/p>\n

So what do they do in the game?\u00a0 Well it\u2019s kind of like Smash Bros. where you can \u2018train\u2019 them to level up to be better racers.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know if I\u2019ll do that as much. You can scan any other amiibo and get a minor reward, too, like coins.\u00a0 The figures are bigger than regular amiibo, only problem is they\u2019re super expensive!\u00a0 Later next year they plan to release some other Kirby Air Riders amiibo with swappable rides.\u00a0 They\u2019ll have Meta Knight on Shadow Star, King Dedede on the tank, and Chef Kawasaki on the Hop Star.\u00a0 My bank account is crying!\u00a0 At least the game is really good.\u00a0 Definitely a contender for Game of the Year, or at least second place!\u00a0 Anyway, that\u2019s all for now!\u00a0 Later!\u00a0 –Cary<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
