\"\"<\/a>Did you know that in Japan, they have caf\u00e9 restaurants with a Kirby theme?\u00a0 You can get Kirby themed food, get Kirby souvenirs at the gift shop, and even the music in the background is remixed music from the game!\u00a0 I would totally go to one of those if I ever went to Japan, but I don\u2019t think I could afford to go there in the foreseeable future.\u00a0 So it\u2019s lucky that Kura Sushi is doing a promotion as of this writing with Kirby!\u00a0 Kura Sushi is a chain of conveyor belt sushi restaurants.\u00a0 When you go there, if you eat enough sushi plates, you can get little prizes!\u00a0 Most of the time, the prizes are anime related, so I\u2019m usually not interested in that.\u00a0 But a few years ago, they had Pac-Man prizes so you know I had to go to that and I even wrote an article about it here<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 A little while later they had Tetris prizes, but I didn\u2019t like any of those so I didn\u2019t go then.\u00a0 But a couple of years later they did have Pikmin prizes so I wrote an article about that, too<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 So now let\u2019s take a look at the Kirby stuff they have this time.\u00a0 The promotion lasts until the end of January, so depending on when you read this, you might be able to check it out yourself, too!<\/p>\n

So when you first walk into the restaurant, they had this display with the prizes you could get and other promotions.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

When you get your sushi, you place your empty plates into a chute.\u00a0 Each table has a monitor that counts how many plates you\u2019ve turned in, and when you get enough, a prize comes out from the top.\u00a0 So here\u2019s a picture of that.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Sometimes the touch screen where you could special order sushi and drinks (served by robots) would have Kirby stuff on it, too.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The table also had an ad with the other Kirby prizes you could get at certain times.\u00a0 But you had to download the app and spend a lot of money so I probably won\u2019t get those.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get me wrong, I still think they\u2019re cool.\u00a0 It\u2019s just very expensive for a cup set or a blanket the size of a dishtowel.<\/p>\n

The banner near the kitchen also had Kirby decorations.<\/p>\n

And there were wall hangings, too.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

When the sushi comes out on the conveyor belt, they have little covers on them.\u00a0 Some of the covers had Kirby!<\/p>\n

And here\u2019s a closer shot of one.\u00a0 I\u2019d like to take one of those, too!<\/p>\n

They even had special Kirby sushi you could get.\u00a0 The Kirby Dream Roll had a pinkish sauce on top and the bottom had little pieces of egg (called tamago) on the bottom.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The Waddle Dee Feisty Feast Roll was pretty much the same thing except the sauce was a little redder, it had some crunchy stuff on top, and was a little spicier.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

So the prizes you could get were either a key chain charm, cord pullers, or a microfiber cleaning cloth.\u00a0 I wish I could\u2019ve bought all of them separately but they didn\u2019t let you do that.\u00a0 Here\u2019s a picture taken from the site that shows all the stuff you could get.<\/p>\n

I got the little cord puller.\u00a0 The paper shows which ones you can get and how they work.<\/p>\n

And I think that\u2019s pretty much everything they had there.\u00a0 I\u2019d love to go back, but I may not since it\u2019s pretty expensive.\u00a0 If they ever did Animal Crossing or Mega Man prizes, I may have to go back for those, though!\u00a0 Later!\u00a0 –Cary<\/p>\n
