\"\"<\/a>After almost a decade, Metroid Prime 4 Beyond was finally recently released.\u00a0 And of course they have amiibo figures and I got them so let\u2019s take a look!<\/p>\n

Here they are in the boxes.<\/p>\n

When you scan the Samus amiibo in the game, you can refill your energy and get an extra temporary tank.\u00a0 But you can only use it once per day.\u00a0 It may not seem like much, but it helped me out a few times when I was about to be beaten by a boss and didn\u2019t want to start over at the last save.\u00a0 I like Metroid Prime games, but I\u2019m not very good at them obviously.\u00a0 I think this will work with any Samus amiibo, not just this new one.\u00a0 You can also scan this once you get Samus\u2019 motorcycle and it\u2019ll let you listen to a few tunes as you drive through the desert.\u00a0 Seems like something that should\u2019ve just been in the game, but oh well.\u00a0 And having silence in the desert feels more fitting anyway.<\/p>\n

And speaking of Samus\u2019 motorcycle, when you scan the Vi-O-La amiibo (that\u2019s what the motorcycle is called), you can see how many miles you\u2019ve driven and when you reach a milestone, you can unlock a color skin for it.\u00a0 I haven\u2019t unlocked them all yet, but I hope I can make the bike be hot pink or neon green.\u00a0 I doubt that\u2019ll happen, though.\u00a0 You can also refill your motorcycle\u2019s boost charge once per day, but I haven\u2019t found any use for that.<\/p>\n

And finally is the Sylus amiibo.\u00a0 He\u2019s the baddie in this game, I think.\u00a0 I\u2019m still playing this game as of this writing.\u00a0 I think he was also in Metroid Prime Hunters, which is one of the few Metroid games I\u2019ve never played (along with Federation Force).\u00a0 When you scan this amiibo, you can unlock a new movie you can view in the gallery after you beat the game.\u00a0 And you can listen to a voice clip from him once per day taunting you.\u00a0 Yeah, not very useful either.<\/p>\n

And those are all the amiibo.\u00a0 Not quite useful in most cases, but they still look cool.\u00a0 People have had mixed opinions on the game, but I still think it\u2019s fun.\u00a0 The chatter from the NPCs isn\u2019t THAT bad.\u00a0 Really my only problem with it so far is that it doesn\u2019t feel like this game should\u2019ve taken 8 years to finish.\u00a0 But anyway, that\u2019s all for now, later!\u00a0 –Cary<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
