already reviewing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2026\/02\/02\/heroes-battle-awakening-ps4-ps5-switch-xbox-one-x-s-pc\/\"><strong>another Plants vs. Zombies imitator in a fantasy setting<\/strong><\/a>!\u00a0 The witch Morgan is taking over the land, and King Arthur has teamed up with the creatures of the forest to stop her.\u00a0 Place your troops in Plants vs. Zombies style fashion to defeat monsters in Defending Camelot.\u00a0 It\u2019s available on all current consoles and PC, but reviewed on PS4 here.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve played Plants vs. Zombies before, you\u2019ll know what to do here.\u00a0 Move around a cursor to place troops.\u00a0 Farmers will grant you more coins faster so you can buy other troops.\u00a0 Archers will shoot approaching enemies from a distance, scarecrows will defend a spot, TNT will blow up enemies, etc.\u00a0 When all enemies are defeated, you can move onto the next round.\u00a0 But if the baddies make it to your flags, you\u2019ll have to start the level over.<\/p>\n<p>You can also unlock an endless mode and place troops in barracks to earn coins when you aren\u2019t playing.\u00a0 You can spend coins to buy more troops, but it sure takes a lot!\u00a0 \u00a0If you haven\u2019t played a game like this before, I\u2019d recommend starting out with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2025\/12\/01\/plants-vs-zombies-replanted-switch-1-2-ps4-ps5-xbox-one-x-s-pc\/\"><strong>Plants vs. Zombies remake I reviewed last year<\/strong><\/a>, but if you can\u2019t get enough of that style of gameplay, here\u2019s another one for you.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/defcam_screen\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-26646\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DEFCAM_SCREEN.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DEFCAM_SCREEN.jpg 500w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DEFCAM_SCREEN-300x169.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/DEFCAM_SCREEN-150x84.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kid Factor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Defending Camelot is rated E-10 with ESRB descriptors of Fantasy Violence and Tobacco Reference.\u00a0 I didn\u2019t notice any tobacco, but you do hit cartoony monsters with weapons, explosions, and magic.\u00a0 Defeated characters just fall over and disappear.\u00a0 Reading skill is helpful for the text, and younger gamers may need help with the tougher
