\"\"<\/a>The Day I Became a Bird is a children\u2019s picture book published about a decade ago.\u00a0 Then a few years ago, it was made into an indie film that won some international awards.\u00a0 I\u2019d love to be able to watch that, but I can\u2019t figure out where I can.\u00a0 Anyway, now you can play a game based on the book and film, too.\u00a0 You play as a boy who falls for the new girl in your class, but she\u2019s obsessed with birds.\u00a0 She watches them out the window, draws pictures of them, and even wears bird barrettes in her hair.\u00a0 So the boy decides to dress as a bird to get her attention, ignoring the ridicule of his classmates.\u00a0 It\u2019s a cute story, and now you can play an interactive version of it on Switch, PlayStation consoles, and PC (reviewed on Switch here).<\/p>\n

The game is broken up into four chapters, and you\u2019ll do activities based on the story.\u00a0 You may need to solve a simple jigsaw puzzle, or find items in the classroom or park, or go through rings on your bike or while flying.\u00a0 You can do actions with quick time style events or simple button presses, but it\u2019s pretty easy and there\u2019s no way to lose either way.\u00a0 You can also collect feathers in each activity but I have no idea what they do.\u00a0 It\u2019s a cute story and a cute game, but it\u2019s pretty short and easy so I don\u2019t know how long it\u2019ll keep anyone\u2019s attention unless they\u2019re just big fans of the book or film.<\/p>\n
