And there’s more to discover, too. You can also find other items to help you out and upgrade your equipment as well.

So yeah, this one plays A LOT like A Link to the Past. So much so that I’m surprised Nintendo didn’t sue (you know how they’ve been nowadays). One thing I have noticed, though, is that this game is a bit harder. The enemies take a few more hits, puzzles are trickier, and secrets are more hidden. But so far it’s still doable. You’ll just die a bit more and need some patience. Other than that, the only other problem I can see is that sometimes goals and objectives aren’t as clear as I’d like. But otherwise, I’ve had a fun time adventuring in this game.

Kid Factor:

Elementallis is rated T for Teen with ESRB descriptors of Blood and Violence. I haven’t really noticed any blood, but you do hit enemies with your sword and magic and they just disappear in a puff of smoke when defeated. But because of the high level of reading skill needed and the difficulty, I’d say this one is best for older kids.

The 16-bit Super Nintendo is my favorite game console, and one of my favorite genres on that console were top down action RPGs. These include obvious ones like The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, as well as more obscure ones, like Soul Blazer. So when I heard about Elementallis, which takes major […]

[4

post-26883","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-game-reviews
["GET
