{"id":27200,"date":"2026-09-28T00:01:33","date_gmt":"2026-09-28T00:01:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/?p=27200"},"modified":"2026-09-13T17:42:40","modified_gmt":"2026-09-13T17:42:40","slug":"woodo-switch-1-2-ps5-xbox-x-s-pc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/2026\/09\/28\/woodo-switch-1-2-ps5-xbox-x-s-pc\/","title":{"rendered":"Woodo (Switch 1 &#038; 2, PS5, Xbox X\/S, PC)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/woodo_box\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-27196\" src=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/WOODO_BOX-150x70.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"70\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/WOODO_BOX-150x70.jpg 150w, http:\/\/www.gamerdad.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/WOODO_BOX.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a>Piece together wooden dioramas to tell a story in Woodo.\u00a0 Foxy is a city fox who just graduated elementary school and is spending the summer in the country.\u00a0 But she\u2019s not happy about it.\u00a0 No friends, nothing to do, and worst of all, no WiFi for her cell phone!\u00a0 But her outlook changes when she meets Ben the frog.\u00a0 Woodo is a cozy puzzle game available on most current consoles and PC, but reviewed on Switch 2 here.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll play the game by moving around a cursor.\u00a0 On the right side of the screen are the pieces for you to place on the wooden diorama.\u00a0 You can tell where things need to go because they will be colorless on the diorama until you place the right piece.\u00a0 Simply hold down the A button over a piece and move it around and release it when you want to drop it.\u00a0 If the piece goes in the right spot, it\u2019ll lock in place. \u00a0Use the right control stick and other buttons to zoom and pan the view around to see the diorama at different angles so you can see how the pieces fit.\u00a0 Sometimes you might have to zoom in close to do a separate part of the diorama, or find hidden objects to unlock new pieces.\u00a0 As you play, a voiceover will tell Foxy\u2019s story.<\/p>\n<p>Everything has a nice wooden texture to it and the power of the Switch 2 really makes the graphics pop.\u00a0 My only problem with this game is the camera controls are a bit confusing and cumbersome.
