It seems to me, lately, that a lot of new M rated titles
\nthat might appeal to teenagers have been coming out as of late, but
\nthere has been a conspicuous lack of reviews on them. I believe that
\nWET was the last one you reviewed. I waited patiently for two weeks
\nfor a Borderlands review and then, again for a Dragon Age: Origins
\nreview, but to no avail. Instead, I have seen games like Afrika being
\nreviewed, which i doubt any parent has a problem with their kid
\nplaying. Have no parents requested these titles, or is there just a
\nlong line?<\/p>\n
It’s far more serious that that. 6.5 years ago I started GamerDad as a full-fledged game review site. All genres, all platforms, all the time. We, a talented group of friends, wrote well over 1200 reviews from 2003-2006 – an epic task. Then I had a massive heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery. It took me a long time to recover. I managed to sell those 1200 reviews to WhatTheyPlay.com and that was the day I decided that GamerDad should be a blog. A blog where I’ll review games as they interest me – and write about how my family is playing them,<\/p>\n
I’m also selling articles to mainstream magazines that reach parents. I’m still trying to help and still trying to defend video games to all it needs defending from. I do this with honesty.<\/p>\n
So, aside from the fact that I’m limited to the games I really want to buy, and the ones sent to me, but I cannot review games I’m not interested in. No matter how popular. Come here for honesty – go to someplace like WhatTheyPlay for content reviews. Thanks for reading.<\/p>\n
