\"\"<\/a>Yesterday, December 9, was one of my little brother\u2019s, Jeff\u2019s 18th birthday! (Wow, they grow up so fast.) And right on time, thanks to Nintendo and a good friend of mine (thanks, buddy, you know who you are), I got a Wii Party prize package in the mail yesterday, right on his birthday! So, when his friends came over to celebrate, I had each one of them tell me in a sentence why they like Wii Party.<\/p>\n

The Wii Party prize package included a copy of the game, a Domino\u2019s Pizza gift certificate, party favors, and other goodies that will definitely be put to good use for the festivities. Wii Party is a multiplayer style board game using Mii characters as the players. Anyway, here\u2019s what Jeff and his friends had to say about Wii Party:<\/p>\n

Dakota: I like Wii Party because of the unique mini-games. Like hiding the remotes or passing them around. It\u2019s more social that way.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Skyler: I like how you can use customized Miis as your characters in the game.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Chris: You really learn a lot about your friends.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Jeff: Some of the games really make you think. Like the one where you pass the Wii remote around and try to come up with words associated with categories.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Cary: (that\u2019s me) I like Wii Party because of how accessible it is. It\u2019s more than just a Mario Party clone. Wii Party has the same vibe as Wii Sports or Wii Music does (I\u2019m probably one of the few people who actually LIKED Wii Music). Thanks to the friendly, accessible atmosphere of the game, you never feel overwhelmed by the amount of mini-games in Wii Party. You can even have the game suggest activities for you to do, based on how many players available and how much time you have to play. A lot of reviewers have panned Wii Party, but I don\u2019t think it\u2019s that bad at all.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

One final message to all you parents out there. Make time to play with your kids. They grow up so fast that you won\u2019t even realize it, and soon they won\u2019t be readily available to spend time with you like they used to. And you\u2019ll really miss it.
