And it fits right in with the spooky month of October. Explore the delightfully creepy ghost-filled Sorcerer’s Lair and uncover its many tricks and traps in pinball-flipping fashion.

Downloading Pinball FX 2 is free, but you pay for each table separately. Their newest one, Sorcerer’s Lair, tells the story of a brother and sister exploring the creepy Sorcerer’s Lair. They’ll defeat a giant tree, fend off ghosts and spiders with the pinball, and even seek help from a friendly girl ghost named Whisper. It kind of has a Harry Potter meets Disney’s Haunted Mansion feel to it.

I guess the only nitpicky problem I had with this new addition is that for a table with such a kiddy theme, it was kind of hard to unlock the pinball events. And it seemed awfully easy to have your ball slide down the ramp and right in the middle of the hole at the bottom! But other than that, it’s a pretty decent table the whole family can enjoy.

Kid Factor:

Pinball FX 2 is rated E for Everyone with an ESRB descriptor of Comic Mischief. Really, it’s pinball, and is as family-friendly as you can get. No reading is required, and even though this is a spooky-themed table, nothing is too scary for kids.
