Little Amazon is a continuously running 2-D platformer that’s similar to Jetpack Joyride, without the jetpack of course. When you start, you’ll constantly run to the right. Tap the jump icon to hop over obstacles, and use the attack icon to defeat any evil minions in your way. If you get hit, you’ll get captured and have to start at the cage again. The levels are randomly generated, so each run is different every time.

As you run, you’ll collect coins which you can use to buy upgrades at the shop. These include new attacks, faster running, higher leaping, and even a double jump! Only problem is the good items cost thousands of coins, so it would take you forever to collect enough to buy them. The makers want you to spend real money to buy more coins, which is the nature of free-to-play games. Also, they don’t explain what the items do very clearly. I can’t see this game holding anyone’s interest for very long, but if you enjoy games of this ilk, you may want to give it a try anyway.

Kid Factor:

Little Amazon isn’t rated by the ESRB, but it’s OK for any age. I do like the cute and cartoony graphics, though.

Help a little jungle girl break out of a cage and escape evil in this downloadable mobile game for iOS devices.
