Tetris DX for the GBC is MUCH better!Tetris is one of the finest games ever made (witness the perfection of the now rare Tetris DX for the GBC!) Tetris was also made for the GameBoy (it used to be the pack in for the original GameBoy... this led to the success of both the game and the handheld, some say!) ![]() But Tetris Worlds for the GBA doesn't quite live up to that storied past. The game contains six Tetris variants and a multiplayer head-to-head with the Link cable but youメll need two cartridges to do it. Thereメs no backup battery so you canメt save your high scores, which removes one of the most obsessive aspects of the game, which isナ trying to beat your last high score. The game defaults with a handholding feature that displays the shadow of the falling piece, at the bottom, to make it easier to place. This is unnecessary and boring. And without a battery, you have to turn it off every time you play! Admittedly the game could be a bit brighter and the pieces could fall a bit faster. Fortunately Tetris is still as addictive as ever and itメs a must have for portable gaming fans, which leads to the biggest problem with Tetris Worlds, the old Game Boy versions of the game still work and, at least Tetris DX, provide most of the gameplay found here. Since the original Game Boy featured more than a few Tetris games over itメs lifespan hereメs hoping someone tries a bit hard, optimizes a bit more, streamlines a lot more, and gives us a better playing Tetris experience than Tetris Worlds. Kid Factor It's Tetris. Of course it's a good kids game!
