Kirby, one of the most widely recognized video game characters in the world, has appeared in 17 Nintendo video games to date. More than 30 million Kirby games have been sold worldwide since his video game debut a decade ago. Cary's Take: The Saturday morning Kirby cartoon is neither educational nor beneficial to kids, but it is still cute, entertaining, and fun. I imagine the movie will be the same way. Some of the monsters and scenes in the Saturday cartoon might scare very young kids, but other than that it's safe and fun, great for young video game fans. Too bad my TV station doesn't play it anymore. Kirby games are some of the best games for kids around. Hopefully I'll be able to find the Kirby movie DVD when it comes out and watch it with my little brothers. Oh, and whoever hired the voice actor for King Dedede deserves a raise. He's the best character in the whole show. "I need a monster to clobber that thar Kirby!"
