Racing game fans can take to the neon-lit city streets and challenge skilled computer-controlled opponents or up to four friends in the same room, wirelessly. As with its console predecessors, this "Need for Speed Underground" game lets you race a handful of American and Japanese tuner cars (such as the Pontiac GTO and Toyota Celica GT-S, respectively), each of which can be "tricked out" with various performance upgrades, including better engines, brakes and suspension. This stunning title features ten unique tracks, multiple solo and head-to-head game modes and responsive handling thanks to the PSP's intuitive analog pad.

The game centers on the hip-hop fueled illegal street racing phenomenon, so parents might want to avoid a game that centers on lawlessness and recklessness for smaller kids. Other than that the game is fairly tame, offers a lot of depth, great control, and intense racing fidelity.
