SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate is the expansion pack for last year's excellent tactical shooter SWAT 4 (GamerDad Review). The game improves on the original in every way while also increasing the difficulty and challenging the gamer with interesting new missions. ムTactical shooters' involve the use of strategy, teamwork and tactics as much as force, and this game puts you in command of a five person team, with simple controls to issue orders to each team while also being in the middle of the action yourself. And while the enemy intelligence has greatly improved, your squad will occasionally do nothing without direct orders which results in failed missions. The time required to load and reload missions makes these failures even more frustrating. The online multiplayer modes, including co-operative play and some new multiplayer games, have been improved and expanded, and provide even more value. The overall quality of SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate is very good ヨ it is a solid game with many hours of gameplay in single player modes that is well worth the budget price for anyone who has played the original.

Click to learn more about GamerDad's Kid Factor review section. SWAT 4: The Stetchkov Syndicate is an ultra-intense tactical shooter that is full of realistic depictions of violent situations that would require the use of SWAT teams. You will guide your team through some very realistic situations involving some of the seedier sides of society, in which desperate people are taking drastic actions and risking the lives of themselves and innocents in the process. The enemies and innocent people caught in the crossfire as well as your squad mates use language typical under such duress.

The moral perspectives in the single player game are actually very positive throughout, as your goal is to minimize loss of life wherever possible ヨ including enemies ヨ and protection of innocents is given the highest priority. However, the tremendous amount of intensely bloody violence and strong language make this a game targeted at adults only. It should be noted that when played over the internet, voice chat is supported, meaning that there is nothing to stop hate-filled individuals from coming into a friendly game and spouting forth streams of obscenities and defamatory statements.
