It's a Golf game that uses your real world golf swing instead of a gamepad. Your mileage may vary.
Reviewed for PS2.
Also available for XBOX.

Real World Golf is one of those gimmicky games that really shouldn't work. The game comes with a box with two cloth wires attached on the inside. The player stands in a golf stance either facing the TV, or lining up like a real tee shot to the TV (this can cause neck cramps I found), and then putting on the gloves and attaching the wires. Then, looking like an idiot, you can navigate the game menus by raising and lowering your arms. Once set up, hold the plastic short golf club in your hands, take the proper stance, and swing and follow-through.
The trick is... it works. It's not perfect (the upcoming Nintendo Wii could be better than this) but for now, it really, really works! Now, is there any way we can use a gamepad to navigate instead and, um, the graphics could be much better too... but it works!

Nothing offensive here, not even the player models. Everything is low key and clearly the big money went into the control scheme and not the graphics engine. That's okay though because this is golf. Meaning, for the first time in a golf simulation I wasn't playing against the controller - I was playing the course. My swing translates well but even rank amateurs can figure it out with a little guidance, making this a perfect teaching tool for older kids. It's not appropriate for younger kids, or short teens, because the wires need to extend a certain distance for them to work. Another annoyance is that each player needs their own profile based on height, making this a poor multiplayer or party game.
