Test your thinking skills in one of fifteen mini-games, using the stylus pen to tap the right answer or draw lines to the correct solution. Practice each game separately or take a test with five of the games in each category to determine your overall brain weight, or high score. You're graded on speed and accuracy. Compete with family and friends using single cartridge wireless play and see who has the biggest brain of all.

While a lack of variety in the mini-games and no online play hurts the game's staying power, at the low price of 20 bucks, Big Brain Academy is still smarter than the average game.

Even so, very young gamers may find Big Brain Academy too hard, but kids in grade school and above should be OK. In fact, these games can help kids practice skills they learn in elementary school.

Some games require players to compare amounts and sizes. One game has different objects on scales and you have to determine which one is heavier. In another, players must count two piles of change to determine which pile is worth more money. Some test a child's memory and logical thinking skills. Selectable difficulty levels mean that anyone can find a fitting challenge.

While some kids may not like Big Brain Academy because it reminds them of tests they have to take in school, the user-friendly nature of the game combined with funny characters and sounds makes training your brain fun.
