That's So Raven is a live-action TV comedy that airs on the Disney Channel cable network and it's about a teen girl with psychic powers. Now fans of the show can have all the fun with the characters on the Nintendo DS game. Raven has a psychic vision that the theater in town is closing down, so she sets off to solve the mystery before it happens. Join Raven on her quest in this point-and-click (think Myst) style adventure game.
Guide Raven as she goes about the neighborhood haunts, trying to figure out why the theater will close and how to prevent it from happening. Talk to people and friends to gather clues, and inspect suspicious places to find useful items and other tidbits. Play control uses a combination of the control pad and touch screen, and is very easy to use. Sometimes Raven dons disguises so she can get past places and talk to certain people. Aside from special costumes and outfits, players can design Raven's wardrobe in the adventure. Play simple touch screen mini-games as a break from the regular adventure. Or challenge a buddy to a game and trade clothes with a friend who has a copy of the game and a DS.
The 3-D graphics look good and the characters look just as they do on TV. Plus the menus are easy to navigate. Even so, only die-hard That's So Raven fans are going to enjoy this DS game.

Absolutely no violence of any kind I could see. Reading skill is a must as everyone speaks in text. Raven uses her psychic powers in the game to predict the future, so some families may be a bit uncomfortable with that. If you're OK with your kids watching That's So Raven on TV, then they'll be OK with the game, too. But only big fans of the show will dig the DS title.
