Zoey Brooks attends the Pacific Coast Academy boarding school and has misadventures and learns lessons with her friends at school. Now you can enroll at PCA, too, and join in on the ムfun' with Zoey 101 for Game Boy Advance.

Play as Zoey and talk to groups of friends: girls, boys, or the faculty. Each one has favors and requests for you to accomplish in the form of simple mini-games. Challenge your friends to a game of one-on-one basketball, disc golf, or scooter racing. Make it to class on time by dashing down the hallway, avoiding toilet paper tossing pranksters at every turn. Successful completion of these mini-games earns you ムfriend points.' Collect enough and Zoey can throw a rockin' party.

While the TV is live-action, the game's graphics are depicted in an overly cartoony fashion. Mini-games are mostly easy to learn, but quickly become clunky and frustratingly difficult. Zoey 101 is no fun at all.

If you are OK with your kids watching the TV show, they'll be OK with this game, too, subject matter-wise. Reading skill is necessary, as all instructions and dialogue is text based (and hard to read to boot). Zoey 101 does not save your progress, rather opting for a password systemラa big no-no for a portable game system. Most kids (and adults) will quickly become frustrated with the difficult and cumbersome mini-games. Not even die-hard fans of the Zoey 101 TV will like this GBA game.
