Who rocks the Jungle Party? Monkeys rock the jungle party!

Sony's Buzz series of game show style videogames is making a splash, primarily due to it's included and awesome controller. Perfect for a game show game the controllers feature four small buttons and a fifth giant button that lights up! While Buzz usually means "quiz show" this time out it means "childrens party game" as Jungle Party adds the monkeys and removes the questions. Will kids like pushing big flashing buttons to make their colored monkey put the hurt on up to four friends or siblings.
Games include sneaking around, whack-a-mole, dancing, and more. There are 40, all told. Kids will enjoy dressing their monkey up and will delight at their antics, the monkeys really are cute, but one wonders if another minigame collection is what kids need. This is a solid game, but with the Buzz title we were expecting something a bit more "Q&A" for youngsters. Regardless of that missed opportunity, at least this game is more fun than a barrel of... some sort of animal
Nothing offensive here. All violence is cartoonish and silly and no monkeys are really hurt during the course of the game. Parents should beware how tangled the wired controllers can get and how easy it is for a smaller child to pull the entire PlayStation 2 down off the shelf in frustration.
