Review – Mario Strikers Charged (Wii)
Posted on March 5th, 2008 by
CommonSenseMedia.org has my Mario Strikers review and it’s got all the parental information you need in it. Like Mario was going to suddenly get foul-mouthed? My, that would be a surprising turn from Nintendo – wouldn’t it? Anyway, the game is rated 10+ in terms of content and ability (some younger more experienced kids and tweens will have an easier time) and I gave it 4 of 5 stars.

Took care of the link, thanks for noticing! I like the looks of these games, but my kids have never been interested enough to part with their cash …

My son (12) and I enjoy playing this together quite a bit. It’s served us well while we wait for Smash Bros 🙂
Single player is a lot less satisfying though, because of the crazy ramp-up in difficulty after the first few matches.

Speaking of Smash Bros only 3 more days until it is released. It is going to be a great game. I usually don’t play complication games i.e Mario Party, Mario Golf or anything else Nintendo game with Mario in the title but I really enjoy playing Smash Bros and Mario Kart. I’ve considered buying Mario Strikers but I am worried that I won’t enjoy it.
