To coincide with the new animated Angry Birds movie, McDonald’s has Angry Birds Movie themed toys in their Happy Meals.  Click here for more info and pictures.

Looks like there are about eight toys in the collection.  Four are figures based on characters, and four look like launcher toys (which makes sense due to the nature of the games).  If you go to McDonald’s web site, you can see what they look like.  I got the black bomb bird toy.  Press down on his legs and the wings flaps up and down.  The Happy Meals also come in the classic boxes.  Nice to see they still use those.  The box is decorated like Angry Birds, and even has something you can scan into the new Angry Birds Action game to unlock some sort of goodies.  Here is a picture of the toy and box I got.

I’d like to go see the Angry Birds movie simply out of curiosity and because it’s video game related.  But I can certainly wait until it hits the dollar theater or when it’s on video, and I wouldn’t be too upset.  Looks like the next toys McDonald’s will have after this are ones based on Skylanders Superchargers and Powerpuff Girls, so I may write about that, too, when the time comes.
