Moe Waifu H: Push-Box (PS4, PS5, Switch, PC)
I don’t know what “Moe” means, but isn’t “Waifu” what you hook your internet up to? Just joking! I know it means like a pretend girlfriend or something. Anyway, in this game you solve block pushing puzzles while unlocking outfits for anime ladies. Moe Waifu H: Push-Box is available on current PlayStation consoles, Switch, and PC, but reviewed on PS4 here.
Gameplay is as basic as you can get. Move in four directions and press against a box to push it. Get all the boxes on the green dots to finish a level. When you do, you’ll unlock an outfit for an anime lady that you can view in the gallery, as well as read how to play and listen to the music in the jukebox.
The problem is this one is incredibly easy. If you have any prior experience with block pushing “Sokoban” puzzles, you’ll be able to breeze through this one. You get three lives and three chances to try again, and even though there is a time limit, I breezed through this one in less than an hour. And there are only 15 levels, too. What a joke. I can think of tons of other way better games like this. Just a waste of time here.
Kid Factor:
Moe Waifu H Push-Box is rated T for Teen with an ESRB descriptor of Suggestive Themes. Some of the outfits you unlock are skimpy bikinis and that’s it. Reading skill is helpful, but there are way better games like this your kids could be playing.
