It’s been a while since I let my inner classic Namco fanboy loose, so here is an extended review and blog about Pac-Man & Galaga Dimensions, which was released on 3DS last week. We’ll take a look at each game in the package. Plus, this isn’t the first time that Pac-Man and Galaga have been mixed together, so as a bonus, we’ll look at other games where the two have met.

After starring in the recent summer animated movie, the Smurfs are ready to party! You’re invited to smurf along with Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Grouchy, Brainy, and even Gargamel in this all-ages dance game for Nintendo Wii.

Not only did SNK release a bunch of pre-Neo-Geo arcade classic as PS Minis, they also added two new games for the Neo Geo Station on PS3. So for the final day of SNK Summer School, we’ll take a quick look at Baseball Stars 2 and King of Fighters 95.
SNK Summer School: Guerilla War (PS Minis)

Last of the old SNK pre-Neo-Geo arcade classics that are now available to download on PS3 and PSP as PS Minis is Guerilla War. It was a 2-D vertically scrolling shooter starring two army dudes as they shot guns and threw grenades at enemies in fortified jungle fortresses. So basically, Ikari Warriors with better graphics.

Out of all the old SNK pre-Neo-Geo arcade classics that are now available to download on PS3 and PSP as PS Minis, I bet Ikari Warriors will be the most downloaded. It was a 2-D vertically scrolling shooter starring two Rambo-esque army dudes as they shot guns and threw grenades at enemies in fortified jungle fortresses.

Out of all the old SNK pre-Neo-Geo arcade classics that are now available to download on PS3 and PSP as PS Minis, I think Marvin’s Maze is my favorite. Of course, that comes as no surprise, since I’m a huge Pac-Man fan, and Marvin’s Maze is just a Pac-Man clone. But it’s a pretty good one.

The third in our look at old SNK pre-Neo-Geo arcade classics that are now available to download on PS3 and PSP as PS Minis is Sasuke Vs. Commander. Ever heard of Satan’s Hollow? It was a single screen shooter similar to Galaga, except the space ships and alien bugs were replaced with a fantasy background and demon enemies. Sasuke Vs. Commander is a lot like that, except it has a Japanese ninja motif.
