LuckyPop (iPad)

LUCKYPOP_BOXLuckyPop isn’t really a game, but more of a useless time-waster app for iOS (reviewed on iPad here).  It’s a virtual gift-giving app you play with friends on Facebook.  Read on to find out how it works.

It’s pretty simple, really.  Just tap on your device and you’ll accumulate luck points, which you can spend on virtual gifts and trinkets for your Facebook friends.  In return, you’ll get a gift, too.  I didn’t get a chance to try it much, however, because I don’t know any Facebook friends who would want to try this with me, and I don’t really like connecting games to Facebook anyway.  I guess if you enjoy collecting virtual goodies and need a short time-waster while you wait in line, LuckyPop may be good.  But for me, it’s about the most useless app I’ve ever seen.

Kid Factor:

Content seems to be pretty safe, but parental supervision is recommended since you have to connect the game with Facebook.  I think this is probably the shortest review I’ve ever written here.  Sorry.
