Pac-Man Funko Pop Vinyl Figures

So there’s a company called Funko that makes these figures called Pop Vinyl.  They all have a unique, stylized look: big heads, large round (usually) black eyes, and they have them based on pretty much any character you can think of.  Characters from comics, TV shows, movies, cartoons, and even video games!  I don’t really collect them because I already have two shelves of amiibo figures and I need to set limits somewhere.  But when I saw they had Pac-Man Pop Vinyl figures, I decided I wanted those since I’m so crazy about Pac-Man.  I finally got them all, so I thought I’d share them with you here.  Plus a majority of them I got in an interesting way, so I’ll tell that story as well!

So here they all are in the boxes.  I didn’t take them out of the boxes because, unlike amiibo figures, they’re actually much easier to store in the boxes.  There’s Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, the four ghosts (Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde), as well as a Blue Ghost, which is what the ghosts turn into temporarily when you eat a power pellet.  I do like how the ghosts have different expressions on their faces to reflect their personalities.

So the first one I actually got was Ms. Pac-Man.  Found her in a store but not any of the others.  I got the Clyde ghost as a Christmas present last year, along with another Funko Pop Vinyl figure that I’ll show you in a bit.  But the rest of the ghosts I got in an interesting way.  Recently I went to an arcade called Round 1.  I even wrote about it in an earlier article here.  At the ticket redemption area, they had all the other Pop Vinyl Pac-Man figures I didn’t have (except Pac-Man).  Well, the Space Invaders Frenzy machine gave you 500 tickets when you got a high score, so after playing a few times, I was able to get the others there!  So the only other one I was missing was Pac-Man.  You’d think I’d have gotten that one first.  So I ordered it online to complete my collection.

There is one other classic arcade Funko Pop figure that I have, but it’s not Pac-Man related.  For Christmas I got a Q*bert one, and I also got a mini key chain Pac-Man figure at a store somewhere, so here’s a picture of those.

And that’s all!  Although I’d really like to have the Mega Man Pop Vinyl figures, I think this will be all I collect.  I did hear they’re making figures of Tom Servo and Crow though.  Oh well.  Let me know what Pop Vinyl figures you have in the comments section!  Later!  –Cary
